ACCESS-York, Inc.

ACCESS-York has become a program of the YWCA of York effective January 1, 2008. The merge combines two of York County’s leading women’s organizations, adding the elimination of domestic violence to the YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.

As a program of the YWCA of York, ACCESS-York will continue to provide the lifesaving services to victims of domestic violence that the community has come to rely upon.

Together, the YWCA of York and ACCESS-York will serve over 8,000 people in York County. All current locations of both organizations will remain the same.

As a way of showing support for those who have experienced domestic violence and as a symbol of hope in ending domestic violence, ACCESS has created END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CAR MAGNETS, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS PINS AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE "PEACE" WRISTBANDS.
